It is pretty amazing have a 2 year old. She can talk in complete sentences, has an incredible sense of humor, and is obsessed with music and dancing. The nerd in me gets cheap thrills every time she says she wants to listed to metal/rock and roll or demands that I put on "Down Down to Goblin Town" or "Daddy Cool" by BoneyM.
She has an independ streak where she wants to do everything herself, from putting on her shoes to things that end up taking tons of time (something I have to keep reminding myself is good for her development even if it makes us late or delays her own bedtime by a few minutes.
Everyone else who has had a young kid can state that having a child run to give you a hug or get excited about certain small things can be the most wonderfull feeling there is.. and I sometimes get sad thinking that it will at some point come to an end when she is too big to pick up and thinks that her "dadda" is uncool.
